Plain-language agreement for working with us. Anything not covered here gets put in writing before work starts.
Who these terms apply to
Anyone who contacts IAMAI Studio, requests a free diagnosis, or engages us to build software. By submitting the contact form or booking a visit you agree to these terms.
What we deliver
Custom software built around your specific workflow. Every engagement starts with a free on-site visit (no obligation). After the visit we provide a free screen-recorded mockup showing what we would build.
If you decide to proceed, we agree on scope and price before any work begins. Nothing gets built without your explicit sign-off.
Pricing and payment
- Basic setup: $799 one-time. Due upon project completion and delivery.
- Full setup (dashboard + marketing website): $1,399 one-time. Due upon delivery.
- Custom scope: quoted in writing before work begins. The written quote is the binding price — no surprise additions.
- Monthly retainer (optional): $349/mo Standard, $449/mo Pro. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime with 7 days written notice. The retainer does not cover new modules — those are quoted separately.
Timeline
Standard engagements go live within 7 days of scope sign-off.
Complex or multi-location projects are quoted with an explicit timeline in writing before work begins.
Intellectual property
You own everything we build for you. Upon final payment we transfer the GitHub repository, the Supabase/database project, and the deployment account to you. IAMAI retains no rights to your code, data, or business information after handoff.
“If it doesn’t work, you don’t pay” guarantee
After delivery you use the system with your real team for 5 business days. If it does not meaningfully reduce the workflow problem we diagnosed together, you owe nothing.
This guarantee applies to the first working version only, not to change requests made after delivery.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time before final delivery. If cancelled after work has begun, you pay only for hours completed at $120/hr, capped at the total project price.
Retainer subscriptions cancel with 7 days written notice — no clawback of months already paid.
Confidentiality
We treat all information about your business — revenue, customers, processes, suppliers — as strictly confidential. We will not share it with anyone outside our two-person team without your written consent.
We are happy to sign an NDA on request.
Limitation of liability
IAMAI’s total liability for any claim related to a project is capped at the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Miami-Dade County, FL.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version dated below is the one in effect. Continued use of the site after an update = acceptance.
